In Re-Extinction, dinosaurs have been resurrected for battle. Armor your dinosaurs to defend them from environmental hazards like stale grandma smell and boiling rivers of taco meat. Make every other player's dino re-extinct and be the last surviving dinosaur!
My kids are 8 and 11 and both picked up the armor mechanic within one round. Four players fit nicely around the table without anyone waiting long between turns. The dinosaur art is genuinely cool too.
The 10-20 minute playtime is perfect for my kids before dinner, and the armor mechanic for defending your dinosaurs adds just enough strategy without confusing my 7-year-old. We rotate who gets to be the raptors every game now.
We’ve played this four times already tonight and the 10-20 minute rounds make it perfect for quick sessions between dinner and bedtime. The armor upgrade system kept my kids engaged even at age 7, though they needed a bit of help strategizing at first.
